Edmonton, AB Trusts Us for Intumescent Fireproof Coatings

Intumescent coatings are specialized protective coatings designed to help protect suitable surfaces when they are exposed to high temperatures and fire. When heated, the coating expands and forms an insulating layer over the surface. Because the performance of the coating depends on the specified system and application requirements, proper preparation and application are important parts of the process.

Our work begins with assessing the surface and understanding the requirements of the selected coating system. Surface condition, existing coatings, preparation requirements, application conditions, and specified coating thickness all need to be considered before the coating is applied. We focus on careful preparation and consistent application throughout the project.

Professional intumescent fireproof coating application can provide an important layer of fire protection for suitable surfaces when incorporated into the appropriate fire-protection system. With the right preparation, coating, and application process, the finished surface can provide the intended protection while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
